About us
Based in Roodepoort, Johannesburg, Gauteng, Seymour Electrical and Solar — formerly Seymour Contracting Services C.C., the registered company name — specializes in electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs, as well as Solar Power and Backup Power Solutions for residential, commercial, and retail clients. We proudly serve the whole of Gauteng and surrounding areas.
Established in 1989 by our founding member P.A. Seymour, our company has built a reputation for delivering quality workmanship, reliable service, and competitive rates for over three decades.
As a family-owned business, we value long-term relationships, integrity, and consistent customer satisfaction. Our team consists of ten dedicated professionals, supported by fully equipped service vehicles to ensure prompt and efficient service delivery.
Our founding member is a fully qualified Installation Electrician, registered and licensed to issue Certificates of Compliance (CoCs) for all installations. We are also PV GreenCard Certified, ensuring that every solar installation meets the highest safety and quality standards.
At Seymour Electrical and Solar , safety and continuous improvement are at the heart of what we do. Our staff undergo regular training in current Safety, Health, and Environmental regulations, ensuring compliance and excellence in every project.
